Year 3 Undergraduate Rural Support Program

The purpose of this program is to encourage third year undergraduate medical students to spend a minimum of four weeks in rural physicians' offices.  A bursary of $250 per week and up to $800 for travel is provided to offset the costs incurred by the students during their rural participation. Students may also apply to extend their rural studies for up to four additional weeks, pending available funding.
