MC4BC | FPs4BC | Health Match BC

The purpose of MC4BC is to support GPs who have dropped their obstetrical privileges to refresh and regain  obstetrical skills and support additional training for graduating FP residents who want to incorporate obstetrics into their practice.

Created by the General Practice Services Committee (GPSC) in 2007, the Family Physicians for BC Program (FPs4BC) is a $10 million program which provides funding to attract newly qualified family physicians to establish their practice in one of BC’s rural communities of identified need.

Health Match BC is a a free, health care recruitment service funded by the government of British Columbia, Canada. They were established in 1999 and have successfully recruited hundreds of health care professionals  on behalf of facilities around the province.  They currently recruit physicians and assist in the recruitment of registered nurses and allied health professionals on behalf of BC’s health care facilities.
