Description :

Vanderhoof is accessible by highway and regular bus and rail service. There is a small private airport here, however the nearest major centre with a commercial airport and regular flights is Prince George, 101 km (1 hour) to the East. Vancouver is 565 km (6.5 hours) to the southwest, by car.

Airlines :

While Vanderhoof does not have a commerical airport, you may fly to nearby Prince George, which is about 100 km away. Both Air Canada and WestJet provide service to Prince George Airport.

Bus Services :

Greyhound provides bus service to Vanderhoof. Visit their website for fares and schedules.

Car Rentals :

You may rent a car in Prince George which is approximately a hour drive away (100 km) from Vanderhoof. Rental companies include Rent-a-wreck, Avis Car and Truck Rental, and Budget Car and Truck Rental.
