Incorporated in 1981, Tumbler Ridge is one of British Columbia's newest towns, built to provide a home and community to employees of the mining industry.  Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky and Hart Mountain Ranges in northeastern BC, Tumbler Ridge is surrounded by mountains, forests and rolling hills.  The town is equipped with modern facilities of every kind and is home to a satellite location for Northern Lights College.  Recreational activities in the area include hunting, fishing and hiking.
