Squamish is located at the north end of Howe Sound on the Sea to Sky Highway.  It is accessible by land, air and water and is often referred to as “sea to sky country”.  It is a popular destination between Vancouver and Whistler.  The Stawamus Chief is a popular destination for rock climbers and hikers.  Squamish also has one of North America’s largest populations of bald eagles.  Forestry is the main industry with tourism steadily increasing.
