The village of Pemberton is a 30 minute drive from Whistler and encompasses an area of about 6 square kilometres. It is part of the Vancouver Coastal Health Region. Pemberton’s main industry is agriculture and it plays an important role in supporting the surrounding areas. Tourism is a quickly growing industry in this area as well. Pemberton is accessible by land and air. There is a small airstrip that may handle commuter sized planes and jets. There are many surrounding well-maintained trails that are popular with all outdoor enthusiasts.
