Recreation
Activities:

Recreational facilities in Fraser Lake include a hockey rink, a soccer field, a baseball field, a curling rink, numerous parks, and a fitness gym.  Mouse Mountain, located in the village, offers hiking and cross-country skiing trails and panoramic views.  A variety of service, sports and special interest clubs and organizations are active in the community.

Fraser Lake has 3 sandy beaches and nearly 20 km of shoreline making it an ideal venue for watersports such as swimming, water-skiing and windsurfing.  Although the Village of Fraser Lake is relatively flat, it is surrounded by hills, mountains, plateaus and lakes, where camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing (including fly-fishing) as well as wildlife viewing can be enjoyed.  As the seasonal home of more than 1000 Trumpeter Swans, the area is known as the Swan Capital of the World.

Popular winter activities in the area include cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.  Downhill skiing is available in Fort St. James, 53 km to the north, at the Murray Ridge Ski Area, which provides 22 runs through diverse terrain and breathtaking scenery.

Annual events in Fraser Lake inclue the Fort Fraser Fall Fair, the Fraser Lake Craft Fair & Tea, the Mouse Mountain Festival and Canada Day celebrations.
