Christina Lake is located in south central British Columbia, just north of the Canada/United States border and is known as the "Oasis of the Kootenays". Established as a tourist destination in the early 1900s, the town continues to attract thousands of visitors every year. Christina Lake's amenable climate, lush valleys, sparkling streams, and clean lakes create unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation. During the summer residents enjoy swimming, boating, sailing, kayaking, hiking and more. Downhill and cross-country skiing are readily accessible during the winter months.
