Located at the southern end of Little Shuswap Lake in the Thompson-Nicola region of British Columbia's southern interior is the community of Chase. With the city of Kamloops nearby, Chase offers the advantages of small town living in close proximity to an urban centre. In recent years, Chase's population has grown to include artists, recent retirees, and young families seeking affordable housing. Residents in the community enjoy its moderate climate and beautiful beaches and parks. Nearby lakes, rivers and mountains provide recreational opportunities that include camping, hiking, river rafting, and in the winter, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The main industry here is forestry.
