The communities of Agassiz and Harrison boast the best of both worlds - a country-like atmosphere for day-to-day living, and easy access to the attractions of urban life.  While Harrison is a popular vacation spot, known for its famous hot springs, Agassiz is a friendly, rural community with a strong sense of history.  The area offers a variety of leisure pursuits, from freshwater fishing in the Fraser River to strolling through the themed floral gardens at the world class Minter Gardens.
